Olivia Williams of Acalanes covered the 5-kilometer course at Woodward Park in Fresno in a time of 16:56.2. The sophomore was one of four girls to break the seventeen minute barrier across all divisions at the 34th California state meet. She became just one of sixteen athletes to ever run under seventeen. She also lead the Acalanes team to a fifth place team finish.
